This Dell W1700 monitor is about 3½ years old and is a great monitor. It has excellent colors and everything shows up crisp and clear. Unfortunately, the inverter had to be replaced about a year ago (a common occurrence for this particular model), and, as a result, the PIP TV function doesn't work. The TV picture will come up, but the colors are all off and there's no sound from the speakers.
This will not come with a remote. However, it does come with the power brick and cord, as well as the DVI monitor cable.
I have used this as my primary monitor, through a digital hookup, but it's now time to upgrade. Like I said, it works great as a standard monitor, but because of the inverter repair and the fact that the TV and speakers don't appear to work correctly, this unit is being sold AS IS, with absolutely no returns or refunds. Be sure that this is what you want before you bid on it.
