You are bidding on 2 pcs. 16 MB 72-pin SIMMS (total 32 MB) memory boards for HP printers listed below. We have memory modules made by several different manufacturers, so the boards you get may not match the ones in the photo. The extra memory is an absolute must if you print internet graphics, PDF files or vector graphics such as Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator. The extra memory will do away with those annoying "mem overrun" error messages and allow quicker printing on all of your graphics applications, especially the larger ones. It will also speed up your normal print jobs. Two of these 16 MB memory boards will increase your modest 2 MB factory installed memory to a whopping 34 MB. More than enough for any "power user".
These 16 MB memory modules are equivalent to the HP part number C3146A (80ns or faster), which are now discontinued and unavailable from HP. Each matched pair has been tested in a professional memory tester, then tested in an HP4+ Plus printer for "memory presence detection" and comes with memory test printout. Truth be known, 16 MB should be sufficient for most people's needs. However, if you feel you need more than 32mb, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can make special auction for you.
Note- The more memory you install, the longer it will take for the printer to initialize and run thru the "05 Self Test". This is normal as the printer must now analyze all the extra memory in addition to all electronics on board.
